On arrival in Colombo, you
will be met and transferred by our local
representative to your hotel in Kandy. Enroute,
visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage.
Visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, established
in 1975, commenced with seven orphans. It is today a
conservation and educational centre. With the help
of local and foreign experts Pinnawela has started a
scientific captivebreeding programme for
elephants.The nearby river plays a dominant role in
their free movement and growth.

Peradeniya Botanical Gardens built as a pleasure
garden by a Sinhala king. Continue on City Tour Of
Kandy.
Enjoy a day excursion to Kandy, enroute visiting the
Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, a home for about 60
elephants. Continue to Kandy and visit the
Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, built a Sinhala king.
Enjoy a visit of the Temple of the Tooth. Tour the
market square, gem showroom and Upper Lake Drive. On
your return to Colombo, visiting a tea estate.
