DAY 01 On arrival at Cochin, you are greeted and assisted at the Airport / Railway station by GITC representative and transferred to hotel.One of the finest natural harbours on the Arabian Sea coast, Cochin, has been a port of call for foreign traders from early times. Its cosmopolitan character is reflected in the buildings and structures representing different regions of the world. A city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala’s commercial hub. Later proceed for sightseeing of Fort Cochin covering Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and Dutch Palace & Chinese Fishing Net. Overnight at hotel/ resort. DAY 02 After breakfast, check out and drive to Munnar.Munnar is a beautiful, peaceful hill station covered with unending expanse of tea plantations, at an altitude ranging from 1600 to 1800 m above the sea level. This hill station was the favourite summer resort of European settlers for centuries. Sprawling tea plantations, picturesque towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel/ resort. DAY 03 After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing. Visit Eravikulam National Park, the natural habitat of the Ibex called Nilgiri Tahar. The slopes of the hills abound in all kinds of rare flora and fauna. Walk through the hills kissing the clouds, breathing the sweet smell of Tea. Any walk along the hills of the Munnar is very romantic and offers some breath taking view. Overnight at hotel/ resort. DAY 04 After breakfast, depart for Alleppey. With the Arabian Sea on the west and a vast network of lakes, lagoons and fresh water rivers crisscrossing it, Alleppey is a district of immense natural beauty. Referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’ by travelers from across the world, this backwater country is also home to diverse animal and bird life. The large network of canals provides Alleppey its lifeline. Today, Alleppey has grown in importance as a backwater destination, famous for its boat races, houseboats, beaches, marine products, vast paddy fields and coir industry. Overnight at the hotel/ resort. DAY 05 Time to bid farewell. On time transfer to Cochin airport / railway station for your return journey.
