Day 1:

Manali – Jispa / Sarchu
After breakfast, early in the morning, leave for Sarchu early morning by 0630 hours. Cross Rohtang La (13,050 ft.) and enter Lahaul Valley. Drive via Koksar, Tandi (where Chandra River meets Bhaga River). Lunch break at Keylong, cross Baralacha La (16,020 ft.) and reach Sarchu (13,953 ft) by evening. O/N Sarchu / Jispa

 

Day 2:

Jispa / Sarchu – Leh
After breakfast, leave for Leh early morning via Nakee La and Lachlang La (16,617 ft.) Reach Pang by afternoon for lunch break. Enroute enjoy More Plains (biggest and highest plateau on Earth, stretching for 42 km) Tanglang La (2nd highest motorable road in the world at 17,585ft.) and reach Upshi. From here the road follows the Indus River, passing villages with terraced fields and neat-whitewashed houses. Reach Leh by evening. O/N Leh

 

Day 3:

Leh – Alchi
After breakfast, depart for the beautiful village of Alchi and Enroute visit Likir Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame Museum. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening. O/N Alchi

 

Day 4:

Alchi – Lamayuru - Leh
After breakfast, drive to Lamayuru and visit the old Lamayuru monastery and spend some time at Lamayuru. While returning, see the beautiful Buddha statue at Mulbek and then depart for Leh, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening. Option to take a stroll around the town. O/N Leh

 

Day 5:

Leh – Khardung La - Nubra Valley
After breakfast, drive for Khardung La (the world’s highest motorable road at 18380 ft.) Drive further to the high altitude desert with sand dunes in Nubra Valley. Enjoy the double hump camel ride in the sand dunes! O/N Nubra
(Sumur / Hunder)

 

Day 6:

Nubra Valley – Leh
In the morning, after breakfast drive back to Leh via Diskit Monastery and Hall of Fame. Enroute, visit the surreal Shey Monastery, Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery. Rest of the evening at your disposal. O/N Leh

 

Day 7:

Leh – Pangong Tso – Leh
After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake at 14, 500 ft. through Chang La (17,350 ft. third highest motorable road in the world.) Reach Pangong Lake, the highest salt water lake in the world, shared by two countries: India (25%) and China (75%).  Enjoy the beauty of the lake while appreciating the changing colours of its fascinating waters. Return back to Leh. O/N Leh

 

Day 8:

Leh - Delhi
After breakfast, board the flight for your trip back to Delhi. Trip ends
